Club VEG is an Alberta-wide collection of easy going, fun, and exciting, (we welcome all kinds ;-) Vegetarians, Vegans, Raw Food Vegetarians, Fruitarians, Future-Vegetarians(in-between-meals-vegetarians) and food/health/lifestyle ethics & sustainablility advocates who are interested in meeting & networking with like-minded people, sharing, entertaining & learning from each other and advocating for vegetarian rights & food ethics to make Alberta more a veg-friendly place to live.
At Club VEG we believe "the best things in life are free!", so our Veggie Eatup Group membership is FREE, and all of the events we organize will be as free as possible. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR GROUP, and all of our 100% vegetarian events, even if some members aren't vegetarian. BY FAR THE MOST VALUABLE FEATURES ON OUR VEGSITE, ARE OUR MESSAGE BOARD (Numerous online discussion forums covering a extensive range of topics) AND OUR VEG EVENTS CALENDAR which is by far the busiest vegetarian events calendar in our province; but YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR GROUP TO CHECK THOSE THINGS OUT! ;-)
We aim to increase awareness of and provide support to all vegetarian groups, charities, businesses and individuals in our province, in our cities and those isolated in rural communities, by creating an easily referencable Base of Information, Calendar of Alberta Vegetarian Events (and fun group activities), Online Discussion Forums to exchange ideas, information, support and network with others...
We also aim to help small town and city vegetarians network with each other to form vegetarian societies and social groups in their towns and cities schools colleges and university campuses.
